God Cares

The God I worship is a personal caring God. Because I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and trust that He rose from the dead, I know, “He has forgiven [me] all [my] sins: Christ has utterly wiped out the damning evidence of broken laws and commandments which always hung over [my] head, and has completely annulled it by nailing it over His own head on the cross.” (Colossians 2:15-15 Phillips).

I know God cares for me because:

  • God Sent His Son to die for my sins and the sins of all mankind.

  • God keeps His promises. Just as He promised, He has been and will always with me in challenging and good times.

  • God answers prayers as He knows best, knowing all He knows. Some things I have requested have been answered in ways I didn’t expect; but I trust He is answers according to His Sovereign will and I’m grateful for His presence in my life.

  • God provides for my needs. Indeed, God is the Provider.

Preschoolers and young children need to learn that God cares for them in our homes, our faith-based schools, home schools and churches.
