Praise is a habit I’m working on cultivating. Honestly, it’s very easy for me to complain, be critical and worry. But those characteristics are not Holy Spirit led. Psalm 71:6 says, “My praise is continually of You.” I am striving to praise the Lord at all times.
Praise should be part of our personalities. To say good things about God on Sundays or in the morning/evening isn’t enough. “From the rising of the sun to the going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3
I’m learning to stop my thoughts and praise God at stop lights, lines in the grocery or drug store, and as events occur throughout the day. May my heart look to God and “His praise continually in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
