The transformative stories and rich hymn texts that I learned in childhood have given me great joy, purpose, and meaning, and have served me well through the ups and downs of life, including three cancer diagnoses and treatments. This devotional book is a small attempt to share two life-changing mediums (bible stories and hymns) with you.

Together they offer a portable sanctuary – in our communities, homes, and minds.
